Holly Wild

A few years ago, singer-songwriter Holly Wild’s music teacher told her to take care of her voice.
He said hers was a voice people would be listening to for years to come. And he was right. Holly’s singing has that timelessly rare quality of being pristine, dynamic and nuanced, yet also purely expressive. It’s a voice that speaks directly to the heart.

Up until that moment, the Sydney, Australia-based artist had been a lifelong musician, yet it took her time before she begun actively pursuing her gifts. Today, she steps forward with her debut Album, Wild, produced by David Arkwright (Bella Porch, Nick Jonas), Jon Buscema (Dan Wilson, Baker Grace, EZI), and CCVM CEO and Founder Cari Cole. It’s a plant-her-flag statement. The album boldly announces a world-class singer with a sleekly modern indie pop sensibility that fuses courageously honest folk with adventurous production touches such as sweetly emotive synth textures, sharp pop hooks, and subtle dance-pop beats. The album is dynamic, with contrasting moments that are moody and edgy, featuring gritty electric guitars and heavy confessional lyrics.

Holly is a storyteller, and her writing is informed by her lifelong journey for spiritual wisdom, her studies of the Kabbalah, and what she calls her superpower, her sensitivity—she’s a deeply empathic writer. Though her songs can be informed sometimes by esoteric principles and personal perspectives, they feel universal and broadly resonant. Her latest Album, Wild, is flush with reflective folk-pop, moody and confessional electro-pop, gritty electric guitars and invigorating hooks.
