Vixens Of Fall are back with new music! Geared up for a massive festival run this year - including the colossal CMC Rocks and recently announced, Savannah in the Round - the trio will be bringing the party with their whirlwind new single, ‘Sinkin’ Spirits’.
Following their sassy hit, ‘Mugshot’, which hit #10 on the Country Songs Top 40 Australian Airplay Chart, the new single keeps the good times rolling. ‘Sinkin’ Spirits’ is a carefree country anthem that celebrates the nights out where dancing on tables and raising hell are the only rules.
The trio teamed up with fellow sibling outfit, The Buckleys, to pen the fun-loving tune. “We have such a great connection with them, and it was only fitting that they would be the humans that we wrote a honkytonk bop about a night of freedom and frivolity. Can you just imagine what a night with The Buckleys and The Vixens, looked like? They’d be Sinkin’ Spirits and raisin’ hell!”
Enlisting multi award winning Rod McCormack (Paul Kelly, The Wolfe Brothers, Max Jackson), their long-time producer and collaborator, Vixens of Fall knew the track was in safe hands. “We are always in awe of Rod and the process that he goes through to bring our music to life. He plays every instrument he can to create the fun vibe.”
With a packed touring schedule in 2025 fans will find it hard to resist this catchy bop. “We knew that this song was highly appropriate to release before our debut performance at CMC Rocks in Queensland. It just so full of country, honky tonkin’ energy.”
In addition to CMC Rocks and Savannah in the Round, the girls are soon to appear at Outback River Lights Festival, Outback Skies, Gympie Music Muster and Urban Country Music Festival, as well as a handful of headline shows in the sunshine state.
The trio have amassed over 1.6 M streams to date thanks to their stunning 2023 debut album, Magick in the Chaos. The songs and stories on the #1 iTunes album also made them 2 x winners of the ICMAA ‘Most Popular Independent Country Band’.
