One of Australia’s most electrifying artists returns — Baker Boy unleashes a new era with ‘PEACEKEEPER’, a bold new single packed with grit and energy.

Co-written with longtime collaborators Rob Amoruso and Pip Norman, and new additions New-Haven (Imagine Dragons, Allday), and REDD., ‘PEACEKEEPER’ is a powerful reminder to prioritise self-worth and personal peace.

While Baker Boy’s signature positivity shines through, this track introduces a rawer edge, reflecting his artistic and personal evolution. More than just a song, ‘PEACEKEEPER’ is a statement—a declaration of staying true to himself, regardless of outside expectations.

“The positive reputation is still there, but I guess I’m getting into the more real side of things; some darker, grittier feelings, I’m letting that come out in my music more. Over the last couple of years, I’ve stepped out of what people want my music to be, and I’m just writing what I want to write. ‘PEACEKEEPER’ is me standing up and taking ownership but keeping that party vibe,” says Baker Boy.

Produced by Amoruso, Norman, and New-Haven, the track carries the high-energy pulse of his past work but leans into sharper lyricism and commanding delivery. Baker Boy effortlessly switches between Yolŋu Matha and English, even adding a splash of Spanish, injecting fresh vitality into the sound.

Developed from an initial idea with Melbourne-based producer New-Haven, ‘PEACEKEEPER’ evolved into its final form as the team pushed into new sonic territory, layering dance-driven beats with an undeniable intensity.

'It was important to Baker Boy that the visuals matched the intensity of the music. Filmed at Werribee Mansion (Victoria), the official video for ‘PEACEKEEPER’, released today, was Co-Directed and Co-Produced by his longtime creative collaborator Aurie Indianna and Melbourne filmmaker Jordan Ruyi Blanch (Ayesha Madon, Memphis LK).'

Baker Boy says of the ‘PEACEKEEPER’ video, “This video is all about the new era and look of Baker Boy. I wanted to make a video that felt like it evolved with my music. There has been a real change in my direction, stepping into some grittier moments sonically so I wanted the visuals to show that too. It's hitting on the things Baker Boy is known for through dance but pushing the boundaries of how that looks and really taking ownership of the spaces I step into.”

The official video showcases the incredible performances of dancers, Trace Trinh, Monique Nightingale, Kaleece Harrop, Alner Borce, Patrick Appiah Cain & Jamane Virdo, choreographed by Hëna Memishi and assistant choreographer Deanne Francisco.

Aurie Indianna shares, “I wanted to tap into dance as a nod to Baker Boy’s origins while also pushing perceptions to reflect Danzal’s growth as an artist. Blending high fashion, high-energy choreography, cinematic tracking shots, and the grandeur of Werribee Mansion, we crafted a powerful visual story that teases what’s to come. Honoured to have co-directed with Jordan and to have worked with such an incredible team to bring this vision to life!’
