Charlie Bedford is making waves as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging artists. Starting his music journey at just 12 years old, Bedford honed his craft performing in bars and clubs, quickly becoming a regular presence on the Aussie pub, club, and festival scene.
Surrounded by music from an early age, Bedford’s career has taken him far and wide. He has performed in iconic American music hubs, including Memphis, Nashville, and Muscle Shoals, and has shared the stage with musicians from legendary acts such as BB King, Ray Charles, and Wilson Pickett.
In 2020, Bedford released his full-length album Good To Go, which brought a modern edge to the blues genre. The record achieved global recognition, reaching #1 on Australia’s RMR Charts, #2 on the USA RMR Blues Rock Charts, and #14 on the UK’s IBBA Charts.
A finalist for Best Blues Album at the 2020 Music Victoria Awards, Bedford has also served as a Youth Ambassador for notable events and organizations, including The Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival, The Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society, and Blues Music Victoria.
