SARALYN BIOGRAPHY
Saralyn is a singer-songwriter from the Hunter Valley in NSW, Australia.
Infused with the soulful influences of legends like Stevie Nicks, Lainey Wilson, and Dolly Parton, Saralyn's musical journey began amidst the harmonies of her musical family.
Her debut single “Little River Girl” recorded and produced in the renowned confines of Kasey Chambers & Brandon Dodds the Rabbit Hole Recording Studio, was released in mid 2023 and the journey hasn’t stopped since, with a further five singles including the latest, “FreedomTrain”.
All of Saralyn’s singles have earned airtime and rotation on the likes of ABC Country, KixCountry and Triple M Country, with her music videos also lighting up screens on CMT Australia.
But she's not stopping there. Saralyn is on a quest for growth and excellence. Saralyn's songwriting prowess has earned her well-deserved recognition on the national stage. In 2023 and 2024 her talent propelled her to the semi-finals of the prestigious Song Writing Prize, a testament to her ability to craft captivating and meaningful lyrics.
She also won the open category at the 2024 Gympie Music Muster Mother Tone Talent Search, out of 250 artists from across Australia. Her victory has earned her a coveted spot on the international stage in Nashville, where she'll have the opportunity to showcase her unique sound and connect with a global audience. Saralyn’s win also took her to the Day Stage and the Deni Ute Muster.
